I CAN DRIVE! I passed my driving test on June 19. WOOHOO. First try ok! Total pwnage. Everyone was so happy for me and then some of those same people said, “Chey, auto car only”. Translation: “No big deal, you learnt how to drive a car without a clutch.” Singlish rocks, we simplify English. My hand-eye coordination sucks, hence I learnt how to drive an auto car, instead of manual. Heehee.

Thanks so very very much to Wee Chin! Who guided me all the way through my driving, from forcing me to apply to nagging me to take lessons. Haha. You owe me my P-plate! He promised his P-plate would be mine if I passed my driving on the first try. Yay me!

After I passed, the first person that I called was my driving instructor, followed by Wee Chin (FELL HONOURED, BITCH), then Gerard. The poor boyfriend wasn’t the first to be notified. Awww.

Anyway I was quite lucky. My instructor brought me on one test route (there are ten test routes) just before the test, and that happened to be the route that I was tested on. I passed with 10 demerit points. So as long you obtain below 20 demerit points, you get your license. I got the same number of demerit points as Wee Chin and Gerard. So no gloating!

Met Joseph (my primary school friend) at the test centre. Apparently his test timing was just after mine. So we both queued up to apply for our licenses. He got 12 demerit points. Awww.

Cut my hair at Headquarters salon today. It’s at Raffles Hotel. When the hairstylist, Jess, asked me what style I would like, I always give the same reply, “Anything”. I prefer the hairstylist to decide what suits me or not. Besides, she has quite a punky cut, so I figured that she would cut an unusual style. My second time there and I am loving it. From the modern-look of the salon, to the drinks that they serve, the impeccable service and of course, the hair-cut. Price-wise, I feel it is reasonable. Cut, wash and style for $30 plus. Umm, I am (or rather my mum) is a regular, so I do get a discount. Yay me!

After the hair cut, on to my facial treatment. Walked over to The Adelphi. I have no clue the name of the place, but the unit number is #03-03. Apparently it is run by 6 freelance beauticians who have their own regular customers. Mine (or rather my mum’s) is Serene (or Selene. I didn’t quite catch her name, I apologise). She was really really sweet and polite. She explained everything that she was doing to me. What ampule she was putting, what was it for, etc etc. I was out like a light when she put the mask on me and left me to rest. Man I was tired. Gerard has been quite worried that I tire out so fast. Hug.

She put tons of things on my face. My red pimples were noticably less red and smaller. She, for lack of a better word, popped out my black and white heads. Man there were tons! Bother. This is a result of being so chin chye (Hokkien for nonchalent) about taking care of my face. Serene told me that when she was 16 years old, all her money was spent on her face! Good grief. She tried so many beauty products.

Maybe I should start…

So anyway, the facial treatment was FAB! It was more than an hour. I have no idea what the price was, but it could not have been that expensive else my mum would not have signed the package. Hurhur.

Facial, spa and massage treatments are THE LIFE! I would totally spend money on them instead of shopping. Grin. Okay they are so going on my wishlist.
